It's been another 8 years and here we are again. After the success of Gangs of Wasseypur, director Anurag Kashyap has come back with a sequel that is even more powerful and hard-hitting than the first part. The story picks up right where Gangs of Wasseypur ended, and this time we're introduced to young Sultan (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). The crime-ridden coal town Sultan comes from is largely controlled by the coal mafia, which has its roots in Pakistan. But power isn't always hereditary - it can also be attained by ruthless ambition. And Sultan definitely has that. As we follow Sultan's journey from the very beginning, we quickly find out that he is a witty and ambitious young man. He has an offer to work as the right-hand man of his father's arch-rival, Khuranna (Tigmanshu Dhulia), but he refuses that offer and instead becomes the right-hand man of his father Faizal Khan (Manoj Bajpayee). But this doesn't mean he gives up on his ambition of becoming a big gangster like his father. He starts building up a team of loyalists with him at the helm and takes over Faizal's illegal businesses one by one. Meanwhile, Khuranna, who was Sultan's original employer, starts planning his revenge against Faizal - whom he still sees as an enemy. But will Sultan be able to stop him? And what about his father? Is Faizal really dead? Just like the first part of the movie, this sequel is a fast-paced crime saga that doesn't have too many dull moments - but just enough to keep you engaged and entertained. Throughout the movie we're constantly moving between different locations and every time we jump from place to place a new character is introduced. The story has a lot of interesting characters that are well developed and have an equally big part in the movie as Sultan does. Through the powerful dialogues and spectacular acting by the entire cast, we're able to get a good grasp of what all these characters are about, and that makes it easier to keep up with this fast-paced crime-thriller. Even though this is not a typical Bollywood flick, I still think it will appeal to a wide range of audience. It has everything you can ask for in a movie - action, drama, humor and suspense. Overall I found the movie pretty entertaining. The story kept me interested throughout the entire movie. I wasn't very familiar with the characters and the plot like most of my viewers, but I still found myself interested in what they were doing. As I mentioned earlier, this is not a typical Bollywood film and you shouldn't expect too much in terms of spectacular visuals or musical score. But if you watch it with an open mind and don't expect too much like most people, then I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by it in the end. So if in your mind gangsters and coal mines don't sound very appealing for you, then this movie is probably not for you. cfa1e77820
